  • you open the copy and decide if you are happy with the result
  • if/when you are happy, you make the payment
  • after the payment is confirmed we send you the final retouched photo.

or if you have:

  • a special request

How can I be sure I will receive the quality I want?

When we finish the retouching works, you will receive a link to a protected/watermarked copy of your retouched photo and will be able to view your photo by opening that link BEFORE paying.

If you are not entirely happy with the result we will get to work to make the necessary adjustments at your request with no additional charge. When you are fully happy, you will receive your final retouched photo.

However, if meanwhile you change your mind and choose other or additional services to be performed, this will bring an extra charge for the works not included in the initial order.

How long does it take to retouch my photo?

Most photos take 2 to 5 days to finish. However, it may take less or more time to finish a photo depending on the complexity of works to be done. We will give estimates for the turnaround before we start any works.

We will discuss with you the urgency of the order. However, we usually try to finish urgent orders within 24 hours or as soon as agreed with you.

Do I get a discount if I order more photos in one go?

We offer discounts if an order is for 15 or more images. The discount is 10% of the total cost.

top

How many photos can I send?

You can send up to 5 photos per message. If you want to send more, just send them in separate messages.

top

How big can one photo be?

One photo can be up to 6MB in size.

top

Do you accept only digital photos?

Yes, we accept only digital photos sent over the internet. Old paper photos or any other physical photos that you want retouched should be scanned first.

top

What format should my image be?

We prefer photos to be in JPG. However, we accept TIFF and GIF formats as well.

top

How should I scan my photo? What file format and size should I choose?

You should scan your photo in colour mode (even if it’s a black and white photo, scan in colour not black and white) at 300 ppi (600 ppi if you want to enlarge it to double its original size) in 24-bit. In any case the bigger size (in pixels) your digital image is, the more qualitative the restoration will be.

Printing tips

The quality of your prints depends on the ratio between image resolution (digital “size” of your photo) and print size. Generally, the higher the resolution of your image, the larger you can print it. You can always ask the company where you make your prints what the best print size for your image’s resolution would be.
